How food at SRQ is laid out

SRQ is one terminal with two concourses, and each concourse has its own security checkpoint. That shapes where you can eat:

  • Before security, on the ticketing side: Suncoast Trading & Bar.
  • Concourse A, after security: Anna Maria Oyster Bar, Patrick's 1481 and Sarasota To Go with Peet's Coffee.
  • Concourse B, after security: Jimmy John's, Starbucks, Mattison's, Seaside Mercantile, Motorworks, Huey Magoo's, The Shoppes at Siesta Key and Wahlburgers.

The airport's terminal map also lists The Salty Key among its dining and shopping spots, without saying where it is, so ask at the information booth.

Eating before security

Suncoast Trading & Bar is the one food stop SRQ lists before security. It sells beer, wine and food, along with retail items. Its operator, Paradies Lagardere, describes it as a Florida-inspired bar and market with craft cocktails, local beers and travel essentials.

SRQ's shopping page still describes a Gulf Coast Travelmart with Dunkin' before security, but Dunkin' is not on the airport's dining page or terminal map. Don't count on it.

Concourse A: Allegiant's concourse

Three places, all after the Concourse A checkpoint:

  • Anna Maria Oyster Bar: a sit-down seafood spot with fresh oysters, seafood platters, steaks, salads and tropical cocktails.
  • Patrick's 1481: the downtown Sarasota favorite, with a full bar, breakfast, flatbreads, salads, burgers and entrees.
  • Sarasota To Go: a quick market with Peet's Coffee, sandwiches and salads from Morton's Market, snacks, baked treats, books and travel gear.

Concourse B: the main concourse

Concourse B, gates B1 to B14, has most of SRQ's food:

  • Mattison's City Grille: full service for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a lounge for local craft beer and cocktails.
  • Wahlburgers: burgers, chicken sandwiches, tots and fried pickles, plus breakfast burgers, sandwiches and burritos and a full bar.
  • Motorworks Brewing: Florida craft beer with sandwiches, salads, wraps, soups, boards and breakfast items, and a full liquor program.
  • Huey Magoo's.
  • Jimmy John's: breakfast and sandwiches.
  • Starbucks: coffee, tea and limited food.
  • The Shoppes at Siesta Key: grab-and-go gourmet items and coffee from local partners.
  • Seaside Mercantile.

Concourse B is in the middle of a full refresh with new restaurants, bars and shops, so expect changes.

Breakfast and coffee for early flights

SRQ does not publish opening times, but several places say they serve breakfast:

  • Concourse A: Patrick's 1481 (hearty breakfasts) and Sarasota To Go (Peet's Coffee and baked treats).
  • Concourse B: Mattison's (breakfast menu), Wahlburgers (breakfast burgers, sandwiches and burritos), Motorworks (breakfast items), Jimmy John's (breakfast) and Starbucks.

Flying out at dawn? Ask at the gate or check the restaurant's own app or site the day before.

Where to get a drink

Before security, Suncoast Trading & Bar serves cocktails, beer and wine. After security:

  • Concourse A: Patrick's 1481 (full bar) and Anna Maria Oyster Bar (cocktails).
  • Concourse B: Mattison's (craft beer and cocktails), Motorworks Brewing (craft beer and a full liquor program) and Wahlburgers (full bar).

Vegetarian and gluten-friendly options

Motorworks Brewing in Concourse B says its menu has vegetarian and gluten-friendly options. For other diets, ask the restaurant directly: SRQ's dining page does not list menus.

Hours and mobile ordering

SRQ does not publish restaurant hours or a mobile ordering service on its dining page. The airport says its shops' hours vary with the monthly flight schedule, so check before a very early or late flight.
