O'Hare parking rates at a glance

These per-day rates come from the airport's parking status panel, checked October 9, 2026. Prices change, so confirm on flychicago.com before you go.

  • Economy Lots G and H: $16 per day
  • Economy Lot F: $30 per day
  • Main Garage daily, Lots B and C, Terminal 5 garage and Lot D: $43 per day
  • Premier Parking: $63 per day
  • Hourly (Main Garage Level 1): $3 for the first hour

Main garage and Lots B and C

The main garage sits next to the domestic terminals. Level 1 is hourly parking, meant for stays under three hours. Levels 2 to 6 are daily parking. Lots B and C are outdoor daily lots beside the garage.

Garage rates: $3 for 0 to 1 hour, $6 for 1 to 2 hours, $10 for 2 to 3 hours, $14 for 3 to 4 hours, $36 for 4 to 8 hours. For 8 to 24 hours the daily levels are $43. The hourly Level 1 page lists $79 for 8 to 24 hours.

The garage clearance is 6'6". If your vehicle is taller, the airport suggests Lots B (9'0") or C (8'5"). Note your level when you park. The airport does not recommend the garage for long stays.

Terminal 5 garage and Lot D

The six-story Terminal 5 garage has about 1,700 spaces. It connects to Terminal 5 by an enclosed pedestrian bridge. Lot D is the outdoor lot next to it. Rates match the main garage: $43 for 8 to 24 hours. Clearance is 8'6".

Economy lots F, G and H

Economy parking is the airport's pick for longer stays. Rates run from $16 to $30 per day.

  • Lot F: covered, on floors 4 and 5 of the Multi-Modal Facility (10255 W. Zemke Blvd., Chicago, IL 60666). $30 for 4 to 24 hours. Ride the ATS for free to any terminal. Clearance 8'4".
  • Lot G: $16 per day, along Bessie Coleman Drive at the southwest corner of Mannheim and Zemke Road.
  • Lot H: $16 per day, credit card only.

For Lots G and H, take the shuttle bus to the Multi-Modal Facility, then the ATS. The airport says the ATS and the parking shuttle buses arrive every 5/10 minutes and run 24 hours a day. Its pages describe Lot H's corner two different ways, so follow the road signs.

Premier and reserved parking

Premier Parking is covered and first come, first served. No booking. Follow signs for Hourly Parking at the Main Garage, then Premier Parking. It is under 300 feet from Terminals 1 and 3. The fee is $63 per day with all taxes and fees.

Reserved parking guarantees a covered space even if the garage is full. Book online. The reservation fee is $10 per space per day, on top of taxes, fees and the parking cost. Reserved spaces are on Level 2 of the Terminal 5 garage, Level 4 of the Main Garage and Level 4 of Economy Lot F.

Shuttles and the ATS train

The Airport Transit System serves Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 5, the Multi-Modal Facility, Lot F, Kiss 'n' Fly, Pace buses and Metra. It is automated, runs 24 hours a day, every 3 to 5 minutes during peak hours, and takes about 10 minutes end to end. Parking shuttle buses from Lots G and H stop at the Multi-Modal Facility, where you board the ATS.

Drop-off, pick-up and the cell phone lot

For drop-off, follow Departures signs to the upper level and stop at your airline's terminal. For pick-up, arriving passengers are met at the outermost lower-level curb. The airport says curbside waiting is prohibited, and unattended vehicles are ticketed and towed.

The free cell phone lot is at 560 North Bessie Coleman Drive, Chicago, IL 60666. Wait there until your passenger has their bags and calls you. You can also use Kiss 'n' Fly at the Multi-Modal Facility, off Mannheim Road and Zemke Boulevard (access from Door 6), with a 15-minute limit. O'Hare's pages place it on different corners of the building (northeast on the drop-off page, northwest on the Multi-Modal Facility page), so follow the signs. Arriving passengers ride the ATS back to the Multi-Modal Facility. O'Hare lists no drop-off or pick-up fee. Wheelchair-accessible rideshare vehicles also pick up at Kiss 'n' Fly.

Paying, EV charging and accessible parking

You pay a cashier when you exit. The airport accepts cash, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and Carte Blanche. Lot H takes credit cards only.

Level II EV chargers: 12 on Level 1 of the Main Garage (Aisle 2 near Elevator Center 3), 48 in the Terminal 5 garage (20 on Level 1, 10 on Level 2, 10 on Level 3, 8 on Level 4) and 24 on Level 4 of Lot F (rows G, H, I and J). O'Hare lists no charging prices.

O'Hare says it has 300 accessible parking spaces, all next to elevator centers, sidewalks, bus stops or the Multi-Modal Facility. Not every lot has enough height for a wheelchair van. O'Hare's breakdown by parking area lists these spaces and height limits (they add up to 266, so call to confirm): Garage 108 (Levels 1 to 6, 6'6"), Lot B 26 (9'0"), Lot C 21 (8'5"), Lot D 13 (no limit), Lot F 40 (8'2"), Lot G 36 (no limit), Lot H 22 (no limit). Shuttle buses from the ATS to the remote lots kneel and each holds two wheelchair users. Call the Parking Information Hotline at (773) 686-7530 for details. For stays over 30 days, call ahead: cars left longer without arrangements may be considered abandoned and towed.
