FLL terminals, concourses and airlines

FLL has four terminals and seven concourses. FLL's Where Is My Airline page groups the airlines by concourse:

  • Terminal 1, Concourses A, B and C (curb address 50 Terminal Drive): Alaska, Allegiant, Bahamasair, Breeze, Caribbean, Contour, Copa, Frontier, IBC, Southwest, United and Western Air.
  • Terminal 2, Concourse D (100 Terminal Drive): Delta and WestJet. Air Canada moved to Terminal 4 on 09/15/2026.
  • Terminal 3, Concourses E and F (200 Terminal Drive): American, Avelo, Azul, Flair, JetBlue, Porter and Sun Country.
  • Terminal 4, Concourse G (300 Terminal Drive): Air Canada (effective 09/15/2026), Air Transat, Avianca, Flair, Sunrise Airways and JetBlue flights to Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica.

The addresses are the terminal addresses in FLL's tenant directory. Use them to tell a driver where to drop you off.

FLL's own pages do not fully agree. Its tenant directory still lists Air Canada in Terminal 2 and puts Avianca in Terminal 1 and IBC in Terminal 3, and it gives Spirit a Terminal 4 address although Spirit is not on the concourse list. Airlines move, so trust your boarding pass or ask your airline.

What's changing at FLL right now

Check these before you fly:

  • Air Canada moved from Terminal 2 to Terminal 4 (Concourse G), effective 09/15/2026.
  • A post-security connector walkway between Terminals 2 and 3 is under construction. Because of it, the curbside ground transportation pickup for Terminals 2 and 3 (GTA 2) has been closed since March 10, 2025 until further notice. In Terminal 2, follow the signs to GTA 1. In Terminal 3, follow the signs to GTA 3 for hotel shuttles, Rental Car Center and Cypress Garage shuttles and off-airport parking shuttles.
  • The GTA 4 pickup area east of Terminal 4 has been closed since April 11, 2025 until further notice.
  • Ride-share pickup is temporary in places: Terminal 1 travelers use a new temporary area just past the taxi podium (Zone Z), and Terminals 3 and 4 use the Palm Garage.
  • Public baggage storage in Terminal 4 is closed until further notice. Terminals 1, 2 and 3 have storage.

Cruise days at FLL

FLL and Port Everglades work together for cruise travelers. Cruise days are Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and many returning passengers reach FLL around 8:30 a.m. for flights all day, so terminals can be crowded and seating limited.

With several ships in port, airlines at FLL may only check your bags up to two hours before your flight. FLL says the earliest some airlines check bags is two to three hours before departure and morning departures can have longer lines. Ask your airline for its check-in time. If you have hours to spare, explore Greater Fort Lauderdale instead of arriving too early. Airlines discourage standby for earlier flights on cruise days because flights are full.

Getting to the port: it is about a 10-minute ride from FLL to Port Everglades. There are no free shuttles to the port. If you booked your cruise line's transfer in advance, a cruise line representative meets you in the baggage claim area. You cannot use the ship's transportation unless you reserved it before you arrived. Otherwise take a shared ride or a taxi from the Ground Transportation desks near baggage claim. FLL's cruise page gives about $12 for a metered taxi to Port Everglades, while its ground transportation page lists $18 to $21, so ask the dispatcher for the current fare.

PortMiami is about 45 minutes away without traffic. FLL recommends allowing at least 90 minutes. Options are ride-share, taxi or Tri-Rail plus a taxi from the Miami station, because Tri-Rail does not go directly to PortMiami. FLL's cruise page says the taxi fee is about $67 and its ground transportation page lists $86, so confirm the fare before you ride.

Some airlines offer baggage check-in at the port for the return flight. Contact your airline to see if it does. FLL also notes that you must bring your own child safety seat.

Getting between terminals

FLL's page says to move between terminals on the curbside walkways, on the parking garage walking trail (follow the ground-level directional arrows) or on a garage tram. FLL publishes no tram schedule or fare, so follow the signs.

The courtesy shuttles on FLL's page run only between the Rental Car Center and the terminals, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Look for the shuttle bus signs on the Lower Level (Arrivals). Terminal 1 reaches the Rental Car Center on foot, using the Concourse B pedestrian bridge on level 2. Terminals 2, 3 and 4 use the free shuttle from the Arrivals curb, which comes every 10 minutes.

After security, Terminals 3 and 4 have a connector walkway near the Concourse F checkpoint. The walkway between Terminals 2 and 3 is still being built, so changing between those terminals means leaving security.

Getting to the city

FLL is about 5.5 miles (9 km) from Downtown Fort Lauderdale by road, about 14 minutes without traffic. FLL publishes no distance of its own, so this figure comes from OpenStreetMap routing. Your options:

  • Broward County Transit (BCT) Route 1 runs daily from Stop G at the Rental Car Center. BCT's local fare is $2 cash, exact change only, or a $5 all-day pass sold on the bus (BCT fares page, updated Aug 13, 2026). Call the Rider Info Line at 954-357-8400.
  • Tri-Rail: free shuttle buses from the terminals to the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport Station in Dania Beach, a few miles away. FLL's ground transportation page lists stops at GTA-1, GTA-2 and GTA-3 on the Arrivals level, and its cruise page lists different stops, so follow the signs. GTA-2 is the pickup area FLL says is closed. Tri-Rail: 800-874-7245.
  • Brightline: an airport shuttle runs daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. from GTA-1, GTA-2 and GTA-3, at a flat rate per person. For the fare call Brightline at 831-539-2091, the number FLL publishes.
  • Taxis leave from a podium at each terminal, and fares are set by Broward County law. FLL's estimates are $18 to $21 to Port Everglades, $86 to PortMiami and $80 to South Beach (cruise page: about $12 and $67 to the two ports). They may vary with the fuel surcharge. Checked 2026-10-09. Wheelchair taxis: call 954-270-9535.
  • Ride-share apps pick up in marked areas on the Arrivals level and drop off on the Departures level.

Ground Transportation booths in baggage claim can help during arrival peaks. You can also call 1-866-435-9355 and choose Option 3.

International arrivals and Customs

FLL ranked 14th among U.S. airports for international traffic in 2025, according to the airport. U.S. Customs for all international arrivals is in Terminals 1 and 4. International carriers include Air Canada, Air Transat, Avianca, Copa, Flair, Porter, Sunrise Airways and WestJet, plus Caribbean airlines such as Bahamasair, Caribbean Airlines and Western Air. FLL's tenant directory lists the Customs and Border Protection airport office at 954-356-7431 and Passport and Baggage Control at 954-356-7788. If you connect from an international flight, check with your airline whether you must collect your bags.

Wi-Fi

FLL says its Wi-Fi is free in all terminals, concourses and the Rental Car Center. Join one of the networks FLL authorizes: Airport-Wifi-Terminal_1, Airport-Wifi-Terminal_2, Airport-Wifi-Terminal_3, Airport-Wifi-Terminal_4 or Airport-Wifi-Rental_Car_Center. FLL says not to connect to other networks to reach the free service, and there is never a charge. If you are asked for a credit card number, call 1-866-435-9355. FLL does not scan, filter, monitor or block traffic on the connection and recommends antivirus software, a personal firewall and up-to-date security patches.

Lost and found

For an item lost in a public area, including the security checkpoints and shuttle buses, fill out the claim form at LostandFoundReport.com/fortlauderdaleairport. FLL recommends the form because of the high volume of calls. If your item matches one that is turned in, the office contacts you.

Items lost on an aircraft, in a rental car or in checked baggage go to the airline or rental car company. Items left at TSA or Customs checkpoints are typically turned over to the office the next business day.

The office is in the Rental Car Center, Level 2, across from the Enterprise counter next to the elevators. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday. Verified items can be picked up 24/7 by following the instructions in the confirmation email. FLL keeps items for 30 days from the date of loss, then disposes of them. Email airportlf@broward.org or call 954-359-2247, Ext. 3.
