- Short term: Hibiscus Garage Level 2 and Palm Garage Level 1 only.
- Long term: Hibiscus Garage levels 3 to 7, Palm Garage levels 2 to 4 and Cypress Garage levels 6 to 9.
The Cypress Garage sits next to the Rental Car Center. For the shortest walk, FLL says to park on Level 1 of the Palm Garage for Terminals 2, 3 and 4, or on Level 2 at the east end of the Hibiscus Garage for Terminal 1.
FLL parking rates
Rates checked on FLL's Parking page on October 9, 2026:
- Short term: $2 per 20-minute interval, maximum $36 per day.
- Long term: $2 per 20-minute interval, maximum $20 per day.
- Curbside valet: $30 per day, no proration.
- Overflow lot: $10 per day, available only during peak travel periods.
There is a 20-minute grace period to exit the garage toll plaza without a charge. FLL publishes no weekly maximum. Prices can change, so confirm on FLL's Parking page or in the FLL Airport App.
How to pay for parking
You have three ways to pay at the exit:
- Cashier booth: FLL points you here for a lost ticket or a courtesy disabled parking vehicle. It takes cash, checks (not starter checks) and cards, including Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- Credit card lane: self-service, cards only, no cash. Insert your ticket, then your card in the same slot.
- SunPass Plus: pick the SunPass Plus lane when you enter and again when you leave. There are no extra fees.
SunPass Plus works if your SunPass account refills automatically from a credit or debit card. It is not available for valet.
Finding a space fast
The Hibiscus and Palm garages have a Space Finder system. A display at the entrance and on each level shows how many spaces are open. At each aisle, green lights mean open, red means taken and blue means a disabled space.
FLL says the Cypress Garage will get the system in a later phase of upgrades. The FLL Airport App also shows parking availability.
Peak days and full garages
During peak travel periods, curbside valet and self parking may temporarily close when they reach capacity. They reopen as spaces free up. FLL posts updates on X and Facebook.
The overflow lot ($10 per day) opens only during peak periods and FLL does not publish its location, so ask at the Ground Transportation booth or check the FLL Airport App. For parking questions, FLL lists Standard Parking Corporation at 954-359-0200. You can also ask your hotel about a shuttle.
Curbside valet
Curbside valet is $30 per day with no proration. The two drop-off and pick-up stations are on the Departures (upper) level roadway, at the west end of Terminal 1 and the west end of Terminal 4. For valet information call 954-359-8108. SunPass Plus cannot be used to pay for valet.
Self-parking stays available in the three garages. During peak periods valet can close when it reaches capacity.
Getting to your terminal and off-airport shuttles
Between terminals you can use the curbside walkways, the parking garage walking trail, or a garage tram. Garage terminal shuttle buses run continuously through the day and are wheelchair accessible.
Off-airport parking shuttles and hotel shuttles pick up on the Arrivals level, in the areas FLL calls GTA. FLL says the Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 pickup areas have moved: from Terminal 2 follow the signs to GTA 1, and from Terminal 3 follow the signs to GTA 3. FLL also says the GTA 2 and GTA 4 curbside areas are closed until further notice. Its pages are not fully consistent on this, so follow the posted signs.
FLL does not publish a schedule for off-airport lot shuttles, so ask the lot.
Drop-off, pick-up and the cell phone lot
Cell phone lot: FLL's current website does not list a cell phone waiting lot. An older FLL directions page described a Cell Phone Waiting Area reached by the road that loops around the Cypress Garage and Rental Car Center, but that page is no longer online, so the lot's status is unconfirmed. Ask your driver to use the posted ride-share pickup areas instead.
Drop-off: Departures level, outside each terminal. Terminal curb addresses are 50, 100, 200 and 300 Terminal Drive for Terminals 1 to 4.
Ride-share pickup is on the Arrivals level. Terminal 1 pickup is just past the taxi podium (Zone Z), Terminal 2 is at GTA 2 (another FLL page says GTA 2 is closed, so follow the signs), and Terminals 3 and 4 use the first floor of the southern part of the Palm Garage (Zones A to D). FLL calls the Terminal 1 area temporary.
Accessible and courtesy parking
Every FLL parking facility has an ADA access feature for people with limited upper body mobility. You enter without pulling a ticket, and charges are worked out when you leave. The garages also have marked disabled spaces and high-top van parking. Terminal shuttle buses with boarding areas near disabled spaces are wheelchair accessible and run continuously.
Courtesy parking: standard rates apply, but drivers of qualifying vehicles do not pay if they use a cashier lane and tell the cashier before payment. Qualifying vehicles display a Florida Toll Exemption permit, carry specialized equipment for a person with a disability (foot or hand controls, lifts or ramps) or show DAV or DV plates on a disabled veteran's vehicle. None of this applies to the overflow lot, valet or reserved spaces.
Reservations and EV charging
FLL does not offer online reservations for its garages on its Parking page, so garages are first come, first served and can fill on peak days. FLL's pages do not mention EV charging. Ask Standard Parking at 954-359-0200 or check the FLL Airport App before you count on a charger.
