Which lounges does EWR have?
The airport lists nine lounges across three terminals, and almost all are tied to an airline.
- Terminal A: American Admirals Club, Delta Sky Club, United Club.
- Terminal B: British Airways Lounge, SAS Lounge, Lufthansa Senator / Business Lounge.
- Terminal C: two United Clubs and the United Polaris Lounge.
Two more places are not counted in the nine: Minute Suites in Terminal C and the Be Relax Spa in Terminal A, which Priority Pass lists. The USO Lounge in Terminal B is for military members and their families. A Centurion Lounge is planned for Terminal A but is not open yet as far as EWR says. Lounge hours and access rules change, so confirm on the airline site before you go.
Terminal A lounges
Three lounges serve Terminal A, according to the airport: the American Airlines Admirals Club, the Delta Sky Club and the United Club.
- Admirals Club: near Gate A8. It lists food, drinks, a full-service bar and Wi-Fi. Hours run 4:00 AM to 7:15 PM on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, 4:00 AM to 5:30 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 4:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday.
- Delta Sky Club: also near Gate A8. The airport says hours may vary and tells you to check Delta.com.
- United Club: near Gate A27, open daily 5:00 AM to 9:15 PM. EWR's lounge list shows one United Club in Terminal A, and its Terminal C page calls a United Club near Gate A26 brand new, so they are probably the same club.
Air Canada passengers can use the Terminal A United Club, per the airport. Check with your airline for eligibility.
Terminal B lounges
Terminal B has foreign carrier lounges.
- British Airways Lounge: Level 3, near Gate B51, daily 3:00 PM to 10:45 PM.
- SAS Lounge: near Gate B60, daily 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Priority Pass at Newark
Priority Pass lists two places at EWR on its Newark page: Minute Suites in Terminal C and Be Relax Spa near Gate 7 in Terminal A. Its Newark page shows no airline-style lounge.
Priority Pass shows Minute Suites as open around the clock and the spa from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The airport lists the spa from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, so call ahead. Check the Priority Pass app for the visit rules before you go.
Amex Centurion, Chase Sapphire and Capital One
American Express and the Port Authority announced a Centurion Lounge in the new Terminal A, planned to open in 2026. The announcement describes 18,000 square feet. We found no confirmed opening date, so check the Amex lounge finder before you go.
We found no Chase Sapphire Lounge or Capital One Lounge listed for EWR. Check the lounge finder from your card issuer. Cards can also open airline lounges, such as the Admirals Club or Delta Sky Club, under the airline's own rules.
Day passes and prices
EWR publishes no day pass prices for its lounges. Each airline sets its own price and access rules, and they change often. Check the Admirals Club, Delta, United and Lufthansa sites, or ask at the desk.
Walk-up passes can sell out on a busy day, so do not count on buying one at the door.
Other places to relax
If you do not have lounge access, you still have options.
- Meditation Room, Terminal A: daily 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with washing stations.
- Meditation Room, Terminal C: open 24 hours.
- Business Center, Terminal A: a quiet workspace near the post-security checkpoint.
- Children's play areas: Terminal A near Gates A6, A19 and A29, and Terminal B on the way to Gates 40 to 49. Free children's lending libraries: Terminal A near Gate A32 and Terminal C near Gate C104 (outside security).
Connections and AirTrain work
Your lounge may be in a different terminal than your gate. A continuous shuttle bus connects Terminals C and A airside, after TSA screening, so you do not clear security twice. It stops near Gate C71 in Terminal C and between Gates A28 and A29 in Terminal A, across from Starbucks.
The AirTrain between your terminal, P3, rental cars and P4 is not affected by the current construction outage, which runs through 11/13/2026. The outage affects the Airport Train Station on weekdays from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
