Which MIA garage to use
MIA ties each garage to a group of concourses.
- Dolphin Garage (North): Concourses D and E. Use it for American Airlines, British Airways and Qatar Airways.
- Flamingo Garage (South): Concourses E to J. Use it for all other airlines.
- Ibis Garage: Concourses J and H, also listed for all other airlines.
MIA's parking page still names JetBlue for the Dolphin Garage, but JetBlue is not in MIA's airline directory, so check your airline's concourse first. MIA's Departures page names only American and Qatar for the Dolphin North Garage.
A moving walkway on the 3rd level connects the garages and terminals. Your ticket is stamped with the garage, level and aisle, so keep it to find your car later. The garages also have a guidance system: a green light over a space means open, red means taken, and digital signs show open spaces on each floor.
Rewards and peer-to-peer pickups
MIA's parking page offers a rewards program for people who park at MIA. Details are on the airport's site.
Turo says its hosts can hand off cars at the Dolphin Garage, the Flamingo Garage and the MIA Economy Park and Ride (Turo announcement, January 31, 2023). Confirm the meeting point in the Turo app before you book.

You can pre-pay for a space in the Dolphin or Flamingo garages up to a year ahead. You get an email with a QR code. Scan it at the entrance and again at the exit. Do not pull a ticket.
You can change or cancel up to 24 hours before your reservation, but the reservation fee is not refundable (MIA lists it as 2.99, without a currency symbol). If you stay past your reserved time, you may pay the difference at the exit. Press the call button if you need help from an attendant.

MIA's page also lists theparkingspot.com as an off-airport option. Check its rates and shuttle on its own site.
