What MIA does not publish

The airport's list gives names and addresses only, with no shuttle hours, frequency, price or phone numbers. MIA tells travelers to check with their hotel directly to find out whether it offers a courtesy shuttle.

Call or read your booking confirmation for four things: is the ride free, does it run at your arrival hour, which door does it use, and is the shuttle shared with another hotel.

Some listed hotels are farther out

The list is long and not every hotel is next door. Eight listings have Doral addresses, five have Miami Springs addresses, and one is in Bal Harbour, on Collins Avenue. The Moxy has a Wynwood name and a Miami address on NW 25th Street.

MIA gives no distances or ride times for any of them. If you are comparing, check the drive on a map app and ask the hotel how long the shuttle takes.

Short layover, no room needed

MIA has private rooms at Wait n' Rest: sleep rooms for 1 to 4 guests with a private shower, towels and snacks, open 24 hours. Call (305) 338-1917 for location and prices. Apart from airline clubs and lounges, MIA lists no other showers.

There is a baggage storage facility on the 2nd level of Central Terminal E, open daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. For layovers of 3 to 5 hours, MIA points travelers to the Tourist Information Center on the 2nd level.

Brightline station shuttles

If you are heading to the Brightline train at MiamiCentral Station, the company offers shuttles that pick up and drop off at MIA. The stops are in the Hotel Shuttle Area: Concourse D (Door 6, Level 2), Concourse E (Door 11, Level 2) and Concourse H (Door 22, Level 2).

MIA lists hours of 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Check Brightline for tickets and live shuttle status.

A new on-airport hotel is planned

MIA's 2025 passenger brochure lists a new Westin as a development project. It describes an on-airport hotel with direct access to the terminal area, with 24-hour food and beverage service. The brochure gives no opening date, so do not plan a trip around it.

Before you book

This page lists no room prices. Rates change daily, so check the hotel's own site. Hotels can change or stop their shuttles without notice, so confirm the service when you book and again the day you fly.
