MIA Airport Restaurants: Food, Water and Mobile Ordering

MIA has over 200 shops, restaurants and duty free stores, and about 65% of that space is past security. Nearly half of it is in the North Terminal (Concourse D). MIA does not publish a restaurant list with hours in its own pages, so this page names only the venues it states.

How food at MIA is laid out

MIA's concessions cover nearly 280,000 square feet in over 200 locations. Food, retail and duty free all share that space.

  • North Terminal (Concourse D): about 140,000 square feet, nearly half of all food, retail and duty free space.
  • Central Terminal (Concourses E, F, G): about 78,000 square feet, roughly 28%.
  • South Terminal (Concourses H, J): about 63,000 square feet, roughly 22%.

About 65% of the space is past security, so most of your choices come after the checkpoint.

Restaurants named by MIA and Priority Pass

MIA's shopping and dining directory (shopmiamiairport.com) is the full list. These are the venues named in MIA's pages and by Priority Pass.

  • Concourse D: TGI Fridays near Gate D36, where MIA also lists a smoking lounge.
  • North Terminal, D and E area: Corona Beach House, 6:30am to 9:00pm per Priority Pass.
  • Concourse E, second level: Viena, the fine dining restaurant at Hotel MIA.

For a full list by concourse, with hours, open the MIA Airport Official app or shopmiamiairport.com before you fly.

Before or after security

MIA says its concessions are in both the pre-security and post-security areas, and about 65% of the space is post-security. MIA does not say which venues are on which side. The one place MIA ties to a spot is Viena at Hotel MIA, on the second level of Central Terminal E.

If you have a real meal in mind, plan to eat after the checkpoint. If you are meeting someone, check the MIA app to see whether the place is public side.

Open early and open late

MIA does not publish opening or closing hours for its restaurants. The Wait n' Rest sleep rooms, which include snacks, are listed as open 24 hours. Corona Beach House is listed by Priority Pass as 6:30am to 9:00pm.

Before a very early or very late flight, check the venue in the MIA app, or eat in the city first. Hours vary by venue.

Mobile ordering

MIA's 2025 passenger brochure says you can order ahead on your phone for contactless pickup. It does not name which venues take orders or which app to use.

The brochure mentions pickup only, so plan on collecting at the counter. Open the venue's listing on the MIA app or shopmiamiairport.com to see whether it takes mobile orders.

Getting to food in Concourse D

Concourse D is a mile long from one end to the other. MIA says to allow at least 30 minutes to walk all of it. The Skytrain has four stations, each a quarter mile apart, and trains arrive about every 3 minutes.

Before you wander, check your gate. A venue at the far end can cost you a long walk.

Water, snacks and rest

MIA lists water refill stations after security at Gates D20, D23, F8, G6, J7 and J9, and before security at several baggage claims. Bring an empty bottle through security and fill it.

If you need a break, Wait n' Rest sleep rooms for 1 to 4 guests include snacks and are listed as open 24 hours. Call (305) 338-1917 for prices.

Lounges that serve food

Priority Pass lists Corona Beach House in the North Terminal as taking a restaurant voucher. See our MIA lounges page for lounge hours and access, and check the Priority Pass app for the voucher amount.
