Orlando, Florida 3 terminals Updated Oct. 9, 2026

MCO Airport Guide: Terminals, Airlines, Map and Wi-Fi

Orlando International Airport (MCO) has Terminals A, B and C. Terminals A and B serve four airsides by tram, and Terminal C, opened in 2022, sits next to the train station with Brightline service to South Florida. MCO asks you to reach security 2 hours before departure. The Gate Link trams to gates 70 to 129 are being replaced through late 2027, so allow extra time. International arrivals clear U.S. Customs in the terminal where the flight lands.

MCO terminals and airlines by terminal

Orlando International Airport has three terminals: Terminal A, Terminal B and Terminal C. Terminals A and B are the original landside buildings. They serve four airsides (concourses) by tram: gates 1 to 29, 30 to 59, 70 to 99 and 100 to 129. Terminal C is the newer terminal, with gates C230 to C254. Here is where airlines are listed on MCO's own airline page:

  • Terminal A: Avelo, Frontier, Southwest.
  • Terminal B: Air Canada, Alaska, Allegiant, American, Bahamasair, BermudAir, Breeze, Delta, Flair, LATAM, Sun Country, United, Viva, Volaris, WestJet.
  • Terminal C: Lufthansa (not on the list, but named on MCO's Terminal C page and in its October 2026 schedule report), Aer Lingus, Aeromexico, Air France, Avianca, Azul, British Airways, Caribbean, Copa, Discover, Emirates, GOL, Iberia, Icelandair, JetBlue, Norse, Porter, TAP Air Portugal, Virgin Atlantic, Zipair.

The list covers 41 entries, with some sub-brands such as Air Canada Rouge and the LATAM and Volaris affiliates. The letter in MCO's list does not always line up with gate numbers (for example, Alaska is listed in Terminal B with gates 30 to 39, behind the checkpoint for gates 1 to 59). Use your boarding pass, and follow the signs to the checkpoint for your gate range. Air Transat appears only on MCO's connections page for Terminals A and B, with no weekly flights in October 2026. Airlines move, so confirm on your boarding pass or flymco.com.

What's changing at MCO right now

Check these before you fly:

  • Terminal C added a new wing with gates 250 to 254. MCO says it will add room for 10 to 12 million passengers a year and slightly reduce traffic in Terminals A and B.
  • The Gate Link trams to gates 70 to 129 (Airsides 2 and 4) are being replaced, from December 2025 to late 2027. MCO says most passengers will see a few extra minutes, and overnight you may ride shuttle buses (COBUS) instead. MCO says the COBUS runs 24 hours a day, with a wait of 1 to 2 minutes if any and less than 5 minutes between gates 70 to 99 and 100 to 129, and large bags are not allowed on board. If you are picking up a rental car or other ground transportation, MCO suggests allowing an extra 30 minutes.
  • A new rental car lobby for Terminal C, next to the pedestrian bridge to the train station, is scheduled for fall 2026 on MCO's project page. The moving walkways on the bridge will be extended once it opens. MCO has not published an exact opening date, so check flymco.com or your rental company.
  • Terminals A and B restroom renovations at all four airsides are planned to start in winter 2026, with substantial completion in 2029. Interior refurbishment of gates 1 to 59 is anticipated to start in 2027 and finish in 2030.

Arrivals, departures and security

MCO says: "Please arrive at the security checkpoint 2 hours before departure." The official homepage shows live security wait times for three checkpoints: gates 1 to 59, gates 70 to 129 and gates C230 to C254. Check it before you leave. MCO also lists MCO Reserve, a free reservation for a spot in the security line.

TSA PreCheck is listed for nearly every airline at MCO. MCO says normal PreCheck hours are 4 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., so confirm that lanes are open when you fly. MCO says CLEAR+ staff are at all three security checkpoints. There is also an ADA and family security checkpoint listed in the airport directory.

For flight times and gate changes, check your airline or flymco.com. We do not repost flight information here.

Bag check at Garage C: Garage C has remote check-in for domestic flights on Alaska, American, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest and United. Drop your bags at least 90 minutes before departure, between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m., per MCO's Terminal C page.

International arrivals and customs

Customs and immigration happen inside the terminal where your flight lands. MCO's International Flight Arrival Guide (English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Japanese) is on flymco.com.

  • Terminals A and B, gates 70 to 99: clear U.S. Customs and Immigration first, then collect your bags. Take the Gate Link up to the main terminal (about 1 minute). Bag claim is on Level 2 and ground transportation on Level 1.
  • Terminal C: it is a Bags First facility, so you collect your bags before passport control. Exit through the one-way doors onto Level 6. Take the escalator or elevator to Level 4 for Garage C, rental cars, the train station and the Terminal Link, or to Level 1 for ground transportation.
  • Biometric screening is used at both. Global Entry kiosks and the CBP Mobile Passport Control app are available; you can complete the app form up to 4 hours before landing.
  • Connecting? Recheck your bags after Customs and go through TSA again. The steps for each terminal are on the security page. Global Entry has an enrollment center on Level 1 of Terminal C.

Getting between terminals and to the city

  • Terminal Link: an automated people mover connects Terminals A and B with the train station and Terminal C. MCO describes a 4 minute ride. In Terminals A and B the station is on Level 3, between the checkpoint for gates 70 to 129 and the Terminal B check-in desks. MCO's FAQ says it operates 24 hours a day. MCO publishes no frequency or fare.
  • Gate Link trams: they take you from Terminals A and B to gates 70 to 129. Each one-way trip takes about 1 minute 30 seconds, per MCO. During the Gate Link work, a COBUS shuttle bus links gates 70 to 99 and 100 to 129 around the clock.
  • Train station: next to Terminal C. Brightline goes to Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach and Miami. SunRail does not come to the airport; a bus link runs from the Sand Lake Road station, per MCO. The local bus (LYNX) stops at the airport, and MCO's page for it is flymco.com/ground-transportation/local-bus.
  • Ground transportation: MCO lists hotel shuttles, the local bus, shuttle vans, taxis, ride apps and limousines. The airport posts approximate rates for each area. Taxis, shuttles and buses are on Level 1. MCO's maps list ride share on Level 2 of Terminals A and B (Level 3 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.), on Level 6 of Terminal C and on Level 1 of the train station, so follow the signs.
  • Distance: MCO publishes no distance to downtown. By road, Downtown Orlando is about 15 miles (24 km) away per OpenStreetMap routing.
