LAS terminals and airlines by terminal

LAS has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, according to the airport. This is where the airlines check in, from the airport's official airline list of 30 airlines:

  • Terminal 1: Allegiant, American, Delta, Southwest and Sun Country. Terminal 1 serves the A, B, C and D gates.
  • Terminal 3: Aer Lingus, Aeromexico, Air Canada, Air France, Alaska, Avianca, Breeze, British Airways, Condor, Contour, Copa, Discover, Edelweiss, Flair, Frontier, Hawaiian, JetBlue, KLM, Korean Air, Porter, United, Virgin Atlantic, Viva Aerobus, Volaris and WestJet. Terminal 3 has its own ticketing, check-in, baggage claim and Customs and Border Protection.

Getting between terminals and the D gates

Trams: From Terminal 1, go through the C/D gates security checkpoint, then board the Blue Line Tram to the D gates. From Terminal 3, go through security on Level 2, take the escalators or elevators down to the tram station and board the Red Line Tram to the D gates. At the D gates, the Blue Line goes to Terminal 1 and the Red Line to Terminal 3. Shuttle bus: before security, free courtesy shuttle buses link the two terminals about every 20 to 30 minutes, and the ride takes about 10 minutes. At Terminal 1, take the elevator or escalators down to Level Zero from baggage claim, exit, and use the crosswalk toward the covered garage to the stop. At Terminal 3, the stop is on Level Zero, in the center of the curb on the airport's shuttle page. Another airport page says outside the terminal on the west end, so follow the Ground Transportation signs. The airport says walking between the two terminals is not possible, as they sit in separate areas of the airport campus. If you land at Terminal 3 and connect to a flight at Terminal 1, use the shuttle bus and check with your airline about re-checking bags.

Security checkpoints and hours

LAS has five TSA checkpoints: three in Terminal 1 and two in Terminal 3. Hours published by the airport:
