IAH Airport Restaurants by Terminal: Hours and Open Early

Houston Bush has five terminals, A through E, and nearly all dining is after security. Before security, the new Chili's To Go in the Terminal E arrivals hall serves hot meals with no boarding pass needed. The earliest breakfast opens at 4 a.m. in Terminal E, and full-service restaurants close by about 10 p.m.

How food at IAH is laid out

IAH has five terminals, A through E. Most restaurants sit after security, on Level 2 of each terminal. Before security you will find fewer choices, mainly near check-in, baggage claim and the Terminal E international arrivals hall.

The lists below come from the airport's own directory, with its posted hours. Hours can change, so check the directory or the Houston Airports app before a tight connection. The Skyway (inside security) and the Subway (outside security) are free and link Terminals A, C and D/E, so you can walk or ride to a better restaurant in another terminal. Terminal B passengers: Terminal B is under reconstruction, and United says concessions at Terminal B South stay open.

Food before security

Options before the checkpoint are limited. Terminal E has the most since the new international arrivals hall opened:

  • Chili's To Go: International Arrivals Hall, beneath the Oculus and near Starbucks. It opened Aug. 23, 2026, and no boarding pass is required. The directory lists Chili's before security from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Starbucks: International Arrivals, daily 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (opened June 2026)
  • H-Town: convenience store on the arrivals level. Coolers outside the storefront stay open when the store is closed.
  • Subway (Terminal A, check-in level): daily 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The directory also tags these venues as before security, but several share a gate with after-security restaurants, so confirm the location in the app: Yume sushi and ramen (Terminal E, near Gate E11), Beerhive (Terminal E, Gates E1 and E24), Starbucks Pick Up counters (Terminal E, Gates E5 and E18), Garrett Popcorn (Terminal C, Gate C34), Panda Express and Starbucks (Terminal C, Gate C42) and First Glass Bistro (Terminal A).

Latest closings are 10 p.m., at places such as Ember, Wendy's and Southern Belle in Terminal C, and The Market by Villa in Terminal E. Most other restaurants close between 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., so a late arrival may find fewer choices.

IAH does not list full-service restaurants open overnight. The directory lists CIBO Express Gourmet Market in Terminal C (Gate C1) as open 24 hours, and the vending machines are always on. Hugo's Cocina in Terminal D (Gate D12) says its grab-and-go items are available 24/7, even though its restaurant hours are noon to 8 p.m.

Mobile ordering

The directory lists three Starbucks Pick Up counters in Terminal E (Gates E1, E5 and E18). They take mobile orders only, through the Starbucks app: pick IAH Terminal E, then collect your order when it shows ready. No other restaurant at IAH lists mobile ordering. The Houston Airports app has the dining directory and security wait times.

Priority Pass dining

Priority Pass lists Cadillac Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar (Terminal A), Landry's Seafood (Terminal C) and Be Relax Spa (Terminal D). At Cadillac, a Priority Pass visit takes $28 off the bill, plus another $28 if you register one guest. Prices change, so confirm with Priority Pass. Priority Pass lists Cadillac open until 10 p.m. while the airport directory shows 9:30 p.m. (9 p.m. on Saturday), so plan for the earlier time.

Questions travelers ask

Is there food before security at IAH?

Yes, mainly in Terminal E arrivals. Chili's To Go opened there Aug. 23, 2026 and needs no boarding pass. Starbucks and the H-Town store are in the same area, and there is a Subway at Terminal A check-in.

Is anything open 24 hours at IAH?

Few things. The airport directory lists CIBO Express Gourmet Market in Terminal C (Gate C1) as open 24 hours. H-Town in Terminal E keeps coolers outside the store open when it is closed, and the vending machines are always on. Full-service restaurants close by about 10 p.m.
