Silver Line SL1 to South Station
Follow the Silver Line signs from the Arrivals level. The bus picks up at the terminal curb and goes to the South Boston Waterfront (Seaport) and South Station. Massport says the trip from the airport to downtown is free.
Massport's bus locator says SL1 service runs from 5:30 AM to 12:30 AM and that buses run frequently. Use the locator to see arrival times at your terminal.

Blue Line subway
The Blue Line runs between Airport Station and downtown. You first need a free Massport shuttle from your terminal to the station. Route 22 serves Terminals A and B and Route 33 serves Terminals C and E, both from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. Route 55 covers all terminals in the early morning and late evening off-peak hours, and Route 66 runs all terminals from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Route 88 stops at the station only on the way to the terminals, so it does not take you from a terminal to the Blue Line.
The MBTA lists a one-way subway fare of $2.40, paid with a CharlieCard, CharlieTicket, contactless payment or cash. The Blue Line connects to the Orange Line at State Street and the Green Line at Government Center. For North Station, ride to State Street and switch to the Orange Line.
