Boston Logan International Airport
BOS Gate Map: Terminals A, B, C and E at Boston Logan
Boston Logan has four terminals with gates: A, B, C and E. The letter of your gate is usually its terminal, with one catch: gates C5, C6 and C7 share a spot with E3, E2 and E1, and the official map files them under Terminal E. Changing terminals can mean clearing security again, and a free shuttle links all four.

How to get to your gate at Boston Logan
Start with your terminal, which depends on your airline. Massport's airline directory puts Delta domestic flights in Terminal A, American, United, Southwest, Alaska and Air Canada in Terminal B, JetBlue, Aer Lingus, Etihad and Cape Air in Terminal C, and most international airlines in Terminal E.
Each terminal has its own TSA checkpoints. Terminal B has two, picked by gate: Checkpoint 3 for gates B1 to B22 and Checkpoint 4 for gates B23 and up. In Terminal A, Checkpoint 2 is TSA PreCheck only. Massport recommends arriving two hours before a domestic flight and three hours before an international one.
Changing terminals
Massport says you may need to clear security again if you change terminals or arrive on an international flight. Follow the signs for connecting flights.
The free on-airport shuttle stops curbside on the lower level of each terminal, generally every 5 to 6 minutes. Route 11 serves all four terminals from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily, and Route 88 serves all terminals around the clock.
The pedestrian bridge between Terminal A and the Air Canada, American and Alaska side of Terminal B is closed for construction since September 1. Follow the detour signs or take the shuttle. Massport lists a post-security connector between Terminals A and B among its airport improvements.
On the official map, Gate C24 sits on the B-C Connector, and Travel Mug Café, a post-security coffee bike, is in that connector near Gates C23 and C24.
International gates at Boston Logan
Most international flights arrive at Terminal E, where customs and Global Entry are. A few airlines (Aer Lingus and Etihad in Terminal C, Air Canada in Terminal B) arrive at and depart from their own terminal. Delta international flights leave from and land at Terminal E.
Some airlines depart from another terminal. American and United list international departures in Terminal B, and JetBlue and TAP Air Portugal in Terminal C, but American, JetBlue and TAP international arrivals land at Terminal E. Check your boarding pass for your gate.
Reading the gate numbers
Gates carry the letter of their terminal: A1 to A22, B1 to B38, C8 to C36 and E1 to E16. Not every number is used. The official map lists no A12, B13, C13 or C35, and Terminal C starts at C8. Some gates have a letter after the number: B31A, B35A, C23A and C23B.
Three gates have two numbers on the official map: C5/E3, C6/E2 and C7/E1. The map files all three under Terminal E, so we list C5, C6 and C7 with Terminal E. Look for either number on the signs.
Gates C23A and C23B are filed under the Terminal B building on the official map. Massport's checkpoint list still mentions B39 and B40; on the official map these numbers lead to Gates C23B and C23A, and the finder above does the same. Type your gate in the finder above, and check the airport screens, because gates change.
Questions travelers ask
How many gates does Boston Logan have?
The official Boston Logan interactive map lists 108 gate numbers (checked October 10, 2026): 21 in Terminal A, 39 in Terminal B, 29 in Terminal C and 19 in Terminal E. Three of them share a spot with another number (C5/E3, C6/E2 and C7/E1), so the map shows 105 gates.
Which terminal is my gate in at Boston Logan?
The letter of your gate is its terminal: an A gate is in Terminal A, and so on. The exception is gates C5, C6 and C7, which share a spot with E3, E2 and E1 and are filed under Terminal E on the official map.
How do I get between terminals at Boston Logan?
Take the free on-airport shuttle from the lower-level curb. Route 11 serves all four terminals from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily, and Route 88 runs around the clock. Massport says you may need to clear security again when you change terminals.
Which terminal is international at Boston Logan?
Terminal E. Most international flights arrive there, and it has customs with Global Entry. Aer Lingus and Etihad (Terminal C) and Air Canada (Terminal B) use their own terminal. Delta international flights use Terminal E both ways, while American, United, JetBlue and TAP Air Portugal also list international departures from Terminal B or C.
Is the walkway between Terminals A and B open?
No. Massport closed the pedestrian bridge between Terminal A and the Air Canada, American and Alaska side of Terminal B for construction on September 1. Follow the detour signs or take the free shuttle.
