SFO parking rates
These are the rates SFO published on October 9, 2026, with all taxes and fees included. SFO says rates are subject to change, so confirm on flysfo.com before you go.
- Long-Term Garage: $4 per 30 minutes, $27 maximum per 24 hours.
- International Garages A and G: $4 per 30 minutes, $37 maximum per 24 hours.
- Domestic Garage: $4 per 30 minutes, $41 maximum per 24 hours.
- ParkFAST (inside the Domestic Garage): $4 per 30 minutes, $60 maximum per 24 hours, with an 8 hour minimum stay.
SFO Valet at the Grand Hyatt at SFO is priced separately on the booking site. flysfo.com doesn't list a valet price, so check it when you book.
Which garage to pick
Domestic Garage: in the center of the airport, with short tunnels to every terminal. Best for short trips or picking up domestic arrivals. Vehicles over 6 ft 6 in can't park here.
International Garages A and G: next to the International Terminal, one on each side. Garage A is closest to the A gates and Garage G to the G gates. Walkways lead to the International Terminal, and AirTrain stations in both garages take you to Terminals 1, 2 and 3 in about 10 minutes. Vehicles up to 8 ft 2 in fit.
Long-Term Garage: the cheapest option, north of the terminals. Garage 1 allows up to 6 ft 10 in, Garage 2 up to 8 ft 2 in, and a surface lot takes vehicles 8 ft 2 in and over. The AirTrain Blue Line runs from Level 5, 24 hours a day, with trains as often as every 4 minutes.
SFO also publishes the closest garage for each airline. For example, American, JetBlue and Hawaiian use Harvey Milk Terminal 1 (Domestic Garage B), Delta uses Garage B and C, Southwest uses Terminal 2 (Domestic Garage D), United domestic uses Terminal 3 (Domestic Garage E and F), and Frontier uses the International A gates (Garage A). Alaska now flies from Harvey Milk Terminal 1 (it moved from Terminal 2 in June 2024), even though SFO's list still shows it at Terminal 2, so park on the Terminal 1 side.
Reserving SFO parking online
Booking online gets you a flexible reservation. SFO says you can change or cancel up to 2 hours before your entry time, and its lowest rates are only available online. A few rules to know:
- Minimum booked stay is 8 hours, so hourly parking can't be reserved. The maximum is 60 days, and you can book up to 365 days ahead.
- Online booking covers Long-Term, Domestic, ParkFAST, and International Garages A and G. You can't reserve a specific stall.
- You get a QR code by email for entry and exit. Use the lane marked Prepaid and don't press the ticket button.
- Your price includes a 4 hour grace period on entry and 2 hours on exit. Stay longer and you pay SFO's posted rate at the exit.
- Cancel within 2 hours of your entry time and you're charged in full.
- Accessible, motorcycle and over-height parking can't be booked online.

ParkFAST
ParkFAST is a dedicated section of the Domestic Garage with its own entrance, bookable online only, with an 8 hour minimum. Car wash can be added for an extra fee. The entrance is on the left, opposite Harvey Milk Terminal 1, after you follow signs to the Domestic Terminals Departures Level roadway. SFO's pages give two different caps on how many cars ParkFAST holds, so don't count on a specific number.
Valet parking
SFO Valet is run from the entrance of the Grand Hyatt at SFO, which connects to every terminal by AirTrain. SFO says it has 24/7 monitored security and an option with EV charging. SFO's pages disagree on online booking: the valet page says bookings can be made online, while the booking FAQs say online booking isn't available for valet. Look at the booking page before you plan around it.
How to pay and exit
You can prepay online, or pay when you leave:
- Credit card in and out: insert the same card at entry and exit.
- Ticket and credit card, or ticket and cash at a Cash exit booth.
- Pay-on-Foot kiosks in the International and Long-Term Garages: floor 3 of the International Garages, floor 1 of Long-Term Garage 1, floors 1 and 5 of Long-Term Garage 2. Then use any exit lane, including Prepaid Exit.
SFO takes Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Diner's Club and JCB. FasTrak is no longer accepted.
Cell Phone Waiting Lot
The Cell Phone Waiting Lot is free, about five minutes from the terminals, and sits next to Long-Term Parking at North McDonnell Rd. and San Bruno Ave.
- Maximum wait: 60 minutes.
- Closed from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m.
- Your vehicle must be attended. No commercial vehicles. First come, first served.
SFO doesn't allow cars to wait at the curb or on airport roads, and unattended vehicles can be fined. Wait in the lot, and drive to the curb once your passenger is outside with their bags.
Drop-off and Kiss & Fly
Curbs are for active pickup and drop-off only. Terminal 3 construction closes the Departures Level curb and drop-off lane between Doors 6 and 13. SFO suggests dropping off at Terminal 2 or the Terminal 3 arrival level, or using Kiss & Fly.
Kiss & Fly is at the Rental Car Center on North McDonnell Road. The AirTrain Blue Line, open 24 hours, takes passengers to the terminals. Remote Bag Check inside the Rental Car Center (Level 1) is open daily from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. for domestic flights on Alaska, American, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest and United. Airline baggage fees apply.
EV charging and accessible parking
All public garages have EV stalls marked Green Vehicle Parking, first come, first served, and SFO says there is no charge for the charge. Bring your own cable for Level 1 (110 V). Level 2 is 240 V.
- Domestic Garage: 60 stalls on Level 1.
- Garage A: 4 stalls on Level 2, 15 on Level 7.
- Garage G: 8 stalls on Level 1, 4 on Level 3, 13 on Level 7.
- Long-Term: 6 per floor on levels 2 to 6 in Garage 1, 18 per floor on levels 2 to 6 in Garage 2, plus 24 on Level 1 of Garage 2.
Accessible spaces are in every facility for DP or DV plates and disabled placards: next to elevator lobbies in the Domestic and International Garages, and on each floor in Long-Term. Taller accessible vehicles should go to Long-Term and check in with the attendant. The AirTrain is wheelchair accessible.
