PHX parking rates

These are the rates listed on skyharbor.com on October 9, 2026. Rates can change, so check the official rates page before you go.

Every garage and lot in the rate table lists $6 for the first hour and $3 for each added 30 minutes. Daily maximums:

  • Terminal 3 Garage: $33
  • Terminal 4 Garage: $33
  • West Economy Garage: $19
  • East Economy Garages A and B: $19
  • East Economy uncovered lot: $16
  • 24th Street Station lot: $16
  • West Economy Park & Walk (seasonal): $10

Premium parking in the Terminal 3 and 4 garages lists $37. Valet lists $18 and $43, but the page does not label those two numbers. PHX's FAQ says valet costs $9 more per 24 hours than the garage drive-up rate, so confirm the valet price when you book.

PHX says you get its best available rates when you book online.

Which lot to choose

PHX suggests parking in the garage near your airline's terminal.

  • Terminal 3 Garage and Terminal 4 Garage: closest to the check-in and security areas. The $33 maximum is the highest.
  • West Economy Garage: about a 12 minute walk to Terminal 3. No shuttle.
  • West Economy Park & Walk: seasonal. About a 15 minute walk to Terminal 3. No shuttle.
  • East Economy (uncovered and Garages A and B): take the PHX Sky Train to Terminals 3 and 4. Follow signs to the East Economy Lot.
  • 24th Street Station: a lot with a Sky Train station on the west side, between Terminal 3 and the Rental Car Center. PHX describes 1,600 new parking spots there.

Terminal garages have a 6 ft 10 in height limit. East Economy is listed at 8 ft 2 in.

Getting from East Economy to your terminal

East Economy parking is served by the free PHX Sky Train. PHX's parking page says trains run about every three minutes. PHX's Sky Train page gives 3.5 to 7 minutes between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m., so plan for the longer figure.

From 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly maintenance can stretch waits to 15 minutes or more.

A free shuttle runs 24/7 inside the East Economy lot and takes you to the Sky Train area. It also takes you back to your stop. Scan the QR code on the shuttle stop sign to get a reminder of where you parked.

Terminal 3 is on Level 5 of the Sky Train. Take the escalators in Ticketing up to Level 4, then the escalators to the Level 5 platform. Terminal 4 is on Level 3, with a walk straight to security.

Reserving PHX parking

You can book anywhere from 2 hours to six months before arrival. PHX recommends booking when you buy your airline ticket. A pre-booked stay can last up to 60 days. For longer, call 602-273-4545.

  • A $2 booking fee applies. It is not refundable if you cancel.
  • You can change or cancel up to one hour before your entry time. A cancellation is refunded minus the $2 fee.
  • You scan a QR code from your confirmation email to enter and exit.
  • You cannot enter more than 2 hours before your booked time. If you exit late, you pay the posted rate for the extra time.
  • You cannot extend a reservation already in use.
  • Spaces are not assigned.

PHX has a free parking rewards program. You earn 10 points per $1, and 1,600 points equals one free day in an uncovered economy lot.

Premium and valet parking

Premium parking is next to elevators in the Terminal 3 Garage, Level 1, and the Terminal 4 Garage, Level 4. You must give a license plate number when you book.

SkyValet runs 24/7. Terminal 3 valet is on Level 1 near departure drop-off, and Terminal 4 valet is on Level 4 by the elevators. PHX recommends a reservation, especially around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Drive-ups are taken if space is open. Valet covers the garage fee, so you don't pay it twice.

You can add a car wash through AutoSpa when you book. You hand your keys to SkyValet.

Paying and getting help

At the exit, pay with cash or a card. Pay on Foot machines also work when you return. Only use them when you are ready to drive out.

PHX accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. It says it does not accept wireless payments such as Apple Pay and Samsung Pay.

There are no cashier booths on Level 1 of the Terminal 3 garage. Pay cash at the Pay on Foot machines near the elevators on the lower and upper levels of Terminal 3.

For help, press the blue call box or call the 24-hour parking hotline at 602-273-4545. PHX does not let you call your own tow truck. Staff jump-start cars free.

EV charging at PHX parking

Charging stations are in the Terminal 3 and 4 garages and at the 24th Street Station lot.

  • Terminal 3 garage: four units on Level 1, two on Level 3 and four on Level 7.
  • Terminal 4 garage: two units on Level 4 east, Zone B, north of the elevator lobby.
  • 24th Street Station: 20 charging outlets.

PHX's pages list no charging prices or network names. Look at the charger itself, or call 602-273-4545.

Accessible and oversize parking

Accessible spaces are in every PHX parking area, closest to the elevators in the garages. In East Economy they are north of the Sky Train station. In the Park & Walk lot they are at the east end. PHX does not offer free parking for disability plates or placards: posted rates apply.

Over-height parking is in the uncovered economy areas and the Oversized Vehicle area east of Terminal 4. At Terminal 3, over-height parking is on Level 1 or along the garage curb with a permit. Call 602-273-4545 for a permit. Oversized areas cost the same as terminal garage parking.

If you cannot reach the ticket at a garage entry, call 602-273-4545. Help takes at least 5 to 10 minutes.

Free cell phone lots for pickups

PHX has three free 24-hour cell phone lots:

  • East Cell Phone Lot, east of Terminal 4: about 90 spaces, flight display, portable restrooms.
  • West Cell Phone Lot, west of the West Economy Garage: about 90 spaces, flight display, portable restrooms.
  • 44th Street PHX Sky Train Station lot: about 25 spaces, restrooms inside the station.

Stay with your vehicle. Plan to wait 30 minutes or less. Leaving the car can mean towing or fines. A flight shows as Arrived on the lot display when it reaches the gate, so give your passenger time to reach baggage claim.

The 44th Street lot also has paid metered spaces if you want to leave your car.

Construction and getting in and out

PHX says overnight lane restrictions on Sky Harbor Boulevard along Terminal 3 will stay in place indefinitely. At times you can only enter and exit the Terminal 3 garage from the south side, using westbound Sky Harbor Boulevard. Terminal access stays open.

Westbound Sky Harbor Boulevard on the west side was reduced to a single lane starting August 14, for Taxiway Uniform. Allow extra time. PHX says there is no impact to West I-10 or Tonto Road access.

A new six-gate concourse at Terminal 3 is expected in 2027.
