PHX has no hotel inside the airport. Several hotels within a few miles list a free shuttle to Sky Harbor, and some say it runs 24 hours. Confirm the shuttle hours and the pickup spot with your hotel before you land, because PHX publishes neither.

Is there a hotel at PHX?
No. PHX lists no on-site hotel on its website, and it has no official hotel list. If you want to sleep close, book a hotel nearby and ride its shuttle. The Information Counters in Terminal 3, Terminal 4 and the Rental Car Center can help, and so can a volunteer Navigator.
What PHX says about hotel shuttles
PHX says many nearby airport hotels offer shuttle service to the airport. It does not say which hotels, when they run or where they stop.
For a courtesy vehicle, PHX tells you to see a Guest Service Representative at an Information Counter or a volunteer Navigator. Ask your hotel which curb its shuttle uses before you walk outside.

Two more hotels near PHX have conflicting listings. The Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport (4300 East Washington Street) shows a free shuttle on one page and no free shuttle on another. The Hampton Inn Phoenix Airport North (601 North 44th Street) advertises a 24-hour shuttle but marks the Sky Harbor shuttle as temporarily unavailable. Call both before you book.
Their listings give no pickup spot or shuttle frequency. Ask the front desk.
Ask these four things before you book
Hotels can change shuttle service without notice. Before you pay, ask:
- Is the shuttle free?
- Does it run at your arrival hour, including late night?
- Which terminal and curb does it use for pickup?
- Does it take wheelchairs? PHX recommends calling the hotel ahead for its wheelchair-accessible service.
This page lists no room prices. Check rates on the hotel's own site.
If your hotel has no shuttle
Taxis leave from Terminal 3 at the north curb outside door 7, and from Terminal 4 Level 1 at the north curb outside door 7 or the south curb outside door 4. PHX sets taxi rates: the first mile is $7, each added mile is $2.60 and the minimum fare is $18. Rates are the same for every company, passenger and bag.
Prices change, so check the airport's Taxis & Shuttles page. Rideshare has its own PHX page too.
Using the PHX Sky Train near your hotel
The PHX Sky Train is free and runs 24 hours a day between Valley Metro Rail at 44th and Washington streets, the terminals, the Rental Car Center and the Economy parking areas. Between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. waits can be 15 minutes or more because of nightly maintenance. PHX's accessibility FAQ says up to 10 minutes in those hours, so allow extra time.
From 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., PHX also stages buses on the south side of the 44th Street station to Terminal 3 and Terminal 4. PHX describes that bus operation as for employees, so do not count on it as a traveler option.
Late arrival or early flight
Pick a hotel that states a 24-hour shuttle in writing, such as the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Airport North or the Hilton Phoenix Airport. For any other hotel, get the overnight hours confirmed before you land.
If the shuttle does not run, a taxi is the backup. Taxis serve PHX at the curbs listed above.
