How to get there from your terminal

After you collect your bags, follow the Rental Car signs to the pickup area on the lower level of the terminal. Board the purple Rental Car Center shuttle there.

Counters and pickup

All rental counters are on the lower level of the Rental Car Center. The shuttle drops you on that level.

DFW does not publish counter hours for each company. Call your company, or check your reservation, if you land late at night.

Returning your car and getting to your flight

Before your flight, follow the signs to return your vehicle at the Rental Car Center. DFW has separate return directions on its rental car page.

To reach your terminal, wait at the upper-level curb of the center next to the letter for your terminal. Shuttles run 24 hours a day. Each terminal has 2 to 3 drop-off zones depending on airline and gate, so watch the signs.

Leave extra time for the return, the wait and the ride.

Driving there

Enter DFW from State Highway 183 on the south, or State Highway 114 or Interstate 635 on the north. International Parkway runs the length of the airport.

The airport has tolled entry and exit plazas. With a TollTag it is automatic. Without one, ticket lanes take contactless payment only, with no cash.

Turo and other options

DFW lists Turo among its authorized rental options. Turo cars are handed over by each host, so DFW does not publish a pickup spot. Read your Turo booking for the exact place.

DFW lists no off-airport rental companies. If you book one, check that company's own page for its pickup point.

Fees and prices

DFW publishes no rental fees or airport charges. Prices, taxes and airport fees show up in your company's quote, so read the total before you book.
