CLT Airport Parking: Rates, Lots, Decks and Shuttles

These are the maximum daily prices CLT lists. Prices change, so confirm them on the airport's parking pages before you book. Checked October 9, 2026.

• Hourly Deck (for short stays): first 15 minutes free, $8 an hour on the first day, $35 daily max. Credit card only.
• Daily Decks (stays of 24 hours or longer): $28 daily max. Online booking only.
• Express Deck Preferred: $24 daily max. Online booking only.
• Express Deck Self-Park: $24 daily max. Online booking only.
• Daily North Lot (stays of 24 hours or longer): $18 daily max. Credit card only.
• Long Term Lot 1 (stays of 48 hours or longer): $14 daily max. Online booking only.
• Long Term Lot 2 (stays of 48 hours or longer): $14 daily max. Credit card only.
• Valet: $50 daily max.
• Cell Phone Lot: free.

Everything on the airport grounds sits on Josh Birmingham Parkway.

• On the left as you approach the terminal: the Hourly Deck, the Daily Decks, the Daily North Lot (between Long Term Lot 2 and the Daily Decks) and Long Term Lot 2.
• On the right: Long Term Lot 1 and the Cell Phone Lot. The Long Term Lot 1 entrance is just south of the Cell Phone Lot.
• Valet: take the last exit to the left before the terminal and follow the Valet signs.
• Express Deck Preferred: 5625 Wilkinson Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28208, at the corner of Wilkinson Boulevard and Harlee Avenue. The entrance is on Harlee Avenue.
• Express Deck Self-Park: 5633 Wilkinson Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28208, entrance on Harlee Avenue near Wilkinson Boulevard.

How to choose, from CLT's own descriptions: Hourly Deck for short stays, Daily Decks and Daily North Lot for 24 hours or longer, Long Term Lots for 48 hours or longer.

The Hourly Deck is the closest parking to the terminal. Hourly spaces are on Levels 4 to 7, and Levels 1 to 3 hold the rental car facility. You reach the terminal by skybridges from the Level 5 elevator lobbies or underground walkways from the Level 1 elevator lobbies. The entrance height limit is 7 feet.

Spaces are first come, first served unless you book online. Drive-up may still work if online is sold out, so check parking availability.

The Daily Decks have a maximum height of 8 feet 4 inches at the entrance and first level, and 7 feet on all other levels. A free shuttle runs from the shelter between the two decks.

Both Express Decks have a 7 feet 6 inch entrance height limit. As of July 1, 2026, CLT says Express Deck Preferred is a traditional self-park deck and no longer a valet service. Its shuttles run non-stop to the terminal's lower level, Zone 2.

For reservation entry, stop at the gate arm and give it a few seconds to read your license plate. If it does not open, scan the QR code from your booking confirmation.

The Daily North Lot and both Long Term Lots have free shuttles from shelters in the lot.

Valet is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at $50 a day maximum. Attendants park your car and help with luggage at no charge. You must hand over a physical key. Bookings must be made at least 3 hours ahead. The height limit in the valet area is 7 feet.

When you return, call 704.629.8111 or go to the Valet service office through the sliding doors near the end of the east underground walkway on the lower level of the terminal lobby. Car wash services are available, so ask an attendant.

Parking shuttles are free and run 24 hours a day, every 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic. Reduced service runs between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. and at peak travel times, so waits can be longer. After 11 p.m., call 704-359-4038 to make sure a shuttle is available.

On the way out, board at the shelters in Long Term Lots 1 and 2, the shelter between the Daily Decks, or at Express Deck Preferred. Coming back, shuttles pick up outside the terminal's lower level, Arrivals/Baggage Claim. CLT's Bus Wait Times page says the outer lanes and its Parking FAQ says the inner lanes, so follow the shuttle signs.

The Cell Phone Lot is free, on Josh Birmingham Parkway on the right next to Long Term Lot 1, and its entrance is just north of the Long Term Lot 1 entrance. Drivers must stay with their vehicles. Wait there, ask your passenger to call or text when they have their bags, then drive to the lower level, Arrivals/Baggage Claim.

To avoid roadway congestion, CLT suggests going against the grain: drop off on the Arrivals/Baggage Claim level and pick up on the Departures/Ticketing level. Curb pick-up and drop-off is allowed, but vehicles cannot be left unattended or they may be towed. Do not circle the airport roads while you wait. If you prefer to meet your passenger inside, use the Hourly Deck.

Book on parkclt.com or in the CLT Airport app, up to six months ahead. Same-day booking may be limited. You get a 2 hour grace period before your entry time and after your exit time. You can change or cancel before your reservation starts. Refunds take 5 to 7 business days.

If you stay past your booked exit, an overstay fee equal to the drive-up rate is added. All products have a 15 minute grace period on entry except Valet. CLT accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. You can park up to 30 days without telling staff. After that, call 704-359-4038.

Accessible spaces are in every deck and lot, and accessible shuttles run continuously. For help, call 704.359.4038. EV charging stations are on Levels 4, 5 and 6 of the Hourly Deck. CLT lists EV charging only at the Hourly Deck, so check before you count on it elsewhere.

Blue emergency call stations are in the Hourly Deck, Daily Decks and Express Decks. Press the red button for an emergency and the black INFO button for non-emergencies. Take a photo of your level and row to find your car later.

If you lose your parking ticket, go to the toll plaza and press the Help button. For a motorcycle, camper, trailer or other large vehicle, call 704-359-4038 to arrange parking. Sundays and the days before and after holidays are exceptionally busy, as are Thursday, Friday and Sunday evenings and Monday, Tuesday and Saturday mornings.
