Hotels Near MSP Airport: Shuttle Pickup and Hotel List

MSP hotel shuttles pick up passengers from Level 1 of the Gold Ramp at Terminal 1. MSP lists 44 hotels with shuttle service, mostly in Bloomington. One of them, the InterContinental, sits on airport property. The list comes from the hotels themselves, so call yours to confirm the shuttle, its cost and its hours before you land.

Your options at a glance

Where to catch your hotel shuttle

Hotel shuttles pick up passengers from Level 1 of the Gold Ramp. That is the Terminal 1 side of the airport. Shuttles drop off passengers on the Upper East Roadway.

MSP does not say where Terminal 2 passengers board a hotel shuttle. Call your hotel and ask for the exact pickup spot before you fly.

What MSP's hotel list does and does not promise

The hotels send MSP their own shuttle details. MSP updates the list regularly but says it can change without notice and cannot guarantee it is accurate.

MSP's list gives each hotel's name, address and phone number. It gives no shuttle hours, frequency or price. Most hotel booking sites for these properties block automated reading, so confirm cost and hours with the hotel before you arrive.

The hotel on airport property

The InterContinental Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport is at 5005 Glumack Dr., phone 612-725-0500. MSP's own maps and shuttle pages show it as part of the airport campus.

The hotel's own site says its shuttle runs around the clock and serves both terminals, and describes a skybridge connection to Terminal 1. It gives no walking time, so ask the hotel when you book.

MSP also runs a free accessible shuttle that stops at the hotel, along with Terminal 1, Terminal 2 (Purple Ramp, Level 1) and the Quick Ride Ramp. It is meant for travelers with mobility challenges and special needs, such as older travelers and parents with young children. It runs about every 20 minutes from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. MSP's pages give two Terminal 1 stops for the accessible shuttle (Level 1 of the Brown Ramp, or the east roadway curb at Level 1 of the Gold Ramp) and two night numbers (612-794-4147 and 612-725-4681). Follow the signs or call.

Staying near Mall of America

If your hotel has no shuttle

The METRO Blue Line stops at both terminals. Trains between the terminals are free, and travel between them is available around the clock (an airport shuttle replaces the train from 11 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.). MSP's pages give different Blue Line schedules: every 15 to 20 minutes from about 5 a.m. to midnight, every 15 to 30 minutes from about 3:30 a.m., or about every 10 minutes at peak times. Check metrotransit.org for your stop. Tickets are sold at station machines and in the Metro Transit app.

MSP's taxi page lists a $23.50 zone fare for rides to anywhere inside Hwy 77, Hwy 62, Hwy 5 and the I-494 loop (checked October 10, 2026). Check the current fare on mspairport.com.

Before you book

MSP's list has no room prices, and neither does this page. Rates change daily, so check the hotel's own site.

Ask four things before you pay:

  • Is the shuttle free?
  • Does it run at the hour you land?
  • Where exactly does it meet you at your terminal?
  • Is the shuttle shared with another hotel?
