BUR Car Rental: RITC Shuttle, Companies and Return Guide

The airport consolidates its rental brands at the Regional Intermodal Transportation Center. Hertz publishes its BUR location at 2501 North Hollywood Way, Burbank, CA 91505. Enterprise lists Suite 8 at that address. Use your rental confirmation for the correct company and return entrance.

The City of Burbank says the new terminal opened October 13, 2026 and directs travelers between the terminal and RITC by airport shuttle. It lists departures every 8 to 10 minutes with no reservation required; assistance is at 818-246-4258. Metrolink places the terminal pickup on the ground floor of the parking structure opposite the terminal and the RITC stop at the designated ground-floor bus curb. This free shuttle operates from 4:45 a.m. to 1 a.m., continuing until 45 minutes after the last flight during delayed or irregular operations. A ride duration is not published; follow current boarding signs.

Official pages are not fully aligned: the airport rental page still describes an elevated walkway, and Enterprise still says no shuttle is needed. Confirm current directions with your rental company and follow airport signs rather than assuming those walking instructions apply to the new terminal.

The airport rental page directs returns through Avenue B, reached from Hollywood Way or Empire Avenue. Because that same page retains older terminal walking directions, confirm the current vehicle approach with your rental company before driving.

Hertz lists hours of 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM Sunday through Friday and 6:00 AM to 10:30 PM Saturday. Enterprise lists the same hours and offers after-hours returns. For Enterprise after hours, use its designated second-floor return spaces and the return-lane key drop box; do not lock the keys inside. Other brands have their own policies, so confirm late pickup or return directly.

No fixed airport-wide rental rate or complete mandatory-fee table is published on the airport rental page. Compare the final quote for your dates, including taxes and airport charges, before booking.

As one published example, Enterprise BUR lists $15 per day for additional authorized drivers outside its exempt groups, subject to contract terms. Its exemptions include an eligible spouse or domestic partner, parents, children, siblings, grandparents and coworkers. Confirm eligibility and payment-card restrictions with the branch. This is not a rule for every rental brand.

Turo permits BUR handoffs in the covered and uncovered parts of Lot G. Its airport rules prohibit terminal curbside handoffs and other unapproved locations. Confirm the exact space in your trip details and messages before leaving the terminal.

Turo displays its airport fee before booking; this is separate from a host delivery charge and parking. Ask your host about parking payment and any credit before pickup, and check approved return locations in the app. Turo makes hosts responsible for pre-trip parking costs, with a minimum of one hour where hourly rates apply; daily-rate parking is the host’s responsibility for drop-off before and collection after the trip. Confirm the payment or reimbursement arrangement in your trip messages.

Enterprise also lists a neighborhood branch at 110 S. Victory Blvd., Burbank, CA 91502, telephone 818-845-0202. It is a separate booking location from BUR. Do not assume a neighborhood pickup service includes airport pickup: contact the branch and arrange your transfer before booking.
