AUS Airport Lounges: Admirals Club, Sky Club, United Club

AUS does not list its airline lounges on its own site. From airline, card and press sources, the Barbara Jordan Terminal has an American Admirals Club and a Delta Sky Club. A United Club is also listed, with a closure report. Southwest has announced a lounge for late 2027, and AUS has no Priority Pass lounge or Centurion Lounge according to Upgraded Points.

Hours and access rules change, so check the airline's app before you go.

Upgraded Points places the Admirals Club on the mezzanine across from Gate 22. Published hours differ between sources, so we list none. Confirm them on aa.com or the AA app.

American sells a One-Day Pass, valid for 24 hours, for $79 or 7,900 AAdvantage miles (American newsroom, checked October 15, 2026). Upgraded Points says the pass needs a same-day boarding pass on American or a oneworld partner. American's release says domestic access also comes with an Admirals Club membership, oneworld status or the Citi/AAdvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard.

American is building a new Admirals Club on the west side of the terminal, with more than 12,000 square feet and an outdoor terrace, double its current footprint. The current lounge stays open during construction. The release gives no opening date.

Southwest has announced its first airport lounges, and AUS is one of the first four sites. KUT's report of the September 2026 announcement places it on the third level above the new TSA Checkpoint 4, with stair and elevator access near Gate 22. The opening is scheduled for late 2027.

Access will require a new premium Southwest credit card from Chase. It is not open yet, so you cannot use it on a trip today.

Delta Sky Club: American Express lists it in the main terminal, near Gate 4, and says it is the only lounge it lists there. Upgraded Points puts it on the mezzanine and lists Sunday to Friday 4:15 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday 4:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. Delta does not sell day passes. Entry needs a membership, an eligible credit card such as the Platinum Card from American Express or the Delta SkyMiles Reserve card, or a qualifying premium cabin. Amex says access is not guaranteed and is subject to space. A news report says a new Delta Sky Club is planned for the early 2030s.

United Club: Upgraded Points places it on the mezzanine across from Gate 22 and says it closed temporarily in July 2026 for mold remediation (page updated August 1, 2026). We could not open United's page to confirm, so check the United app before you plan around it. When open, a day pass is listed at $59 with a same-day boarding pass from United or a partner airline.

Upgraded Points says AUS has no Priority Pass lounge and no American Express Centurion Lounge, and it mentions no Capital One lounge. Chase's lounge page does not list Austin among its Sapphire Lounges by The Club. Check your card issuer's app to be sure.

Upgraded Points lists the Platinum Card from American Express among the cards that give access to the Delta Sky Club. It is not an Amex Centurion Lounge.

Departure Lounge near Gate 17 is a restaurant and bar, not a lounge. AUS also has a Mobility Lounge on the ticketing and departures level, a seating area for passengers who use wheelchairs and other mobility assistive devices.

Pet relief for service animals is before security outside on the west and east sides, and after security near Gate 9 on the AUS For All page. The Accessibility page says Gate 11, so look for signs.
