STL Airport Hotels With Free Shuttle: Names and Pickup

STL does not publish a list of hotels. These five hotel sites each advertise an airport shuttle. Confirm the details with the hotel, because shuttle schedules change.

• Wingate by Wyndham St. Louis Airport, 10820 Peartree Lane, Saint Ann, MO 63074, (314) 254-2656. Its site says a free 24/7 shuttle serves the airport. Pickup point: not published.
• Hyatt Select St. Louis Airport, 4576 Woodson Rd, St. Louis, MO 63134, (314) 528-3100. Its FAQ lists a free shuttle to and from the airport only, 4am to midnight. Pickup point: not published.
• Embassy Suites by Hilton St. Louis Airport, 11237 Lone Eagle Drive, Bridgeton, MO 63044. Its site lists a complimentary airport shuttle and says the hotel is about seven minutes from the airport. Hours and pickup point: not published.
• Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton St. Louis Airport, 10350 Natural Bridge Rd, St. Louis, MO 63134. Its listing shows a complimentary airport shuttle and a distance of about one mile from the airport. Hours and pickup point: not published.
• Holiday Inn Express & Suites St. Louis Airport, 10000 Natural Bridge Rd, St. Louis, MO 63134, (314) 736-1710. IHG lists an STL airport shuttle and headlines the hotel as having a free shuttle. Call the hotel for the meeting point.

Both airport maps list a Hotel/Motel Shuttle passenger pickup. STL has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, and each map shows its own pickup.

The maps do not say which exit or door it is. Ask your hotel which door to use, and tell them which airline you flew so they know which terminal you are in.

The Information Booth helps with hotel shuttle services, among other questions. It is open 7:00am to 11:00pm daily.

• Terminal 1: in baggage claim between carousels 4 and 5. Call (314) 890-1333.
• Terminal 2: call (314) 890-1311 or use the courtesy phones by Gate E10 and in the lower level across from the Southwest Airlines Baggage Office. The T2 map also marks an Information Booth.

If your hotel meets you at the other terminal, ride the free Terminal Shuttle. It runs 24 hours a day between Exit 12 at Terminal 1 and Door 10 at Terminal 2. There is no walking route between the terminals.

The ride takes about 10 minutes and the shuttle picks up every 8 to 15 minutes. If it is badly delayed, call (314) 890-2880.

The airport's FAQ says Door 10 at Terminal 2, while a notice on the same site says Exit 10. Follow the signs at Terminal 2 for the shuttle stop.

Super Park lot shuttles run 24 hours a day, about every 15 minutes, but they only serve the airport parking lots. Rental car companies run their own free shuttles to off-airport lots.

If you are staying at a hotel and parking there, ask the hotel about parking. Hyatt Select's FAQ, for example, lists a $10 per night, per vehicle parking charge.

Only the Wingate site promises 24/7 service, and Hyatt Select lists 4am to midnight. For the others, ask for the first and last pickup times. Taxis and Lyft or Uber are the fallback, and ride apps need an online reservation at STL.

MetroLink does not reach these hotels directly. Metro closed the Terminal 1 station on October 12 and closes the Terminal 2 station on November 2, with both expected to reopen in mid-December. Plan on a hotel shuttle or a taxi or rideshare, and check metrostlouis.org if you want the train.
