SEA Airport Parking: Garage Rates, Reservations, Cell Lot

SEA has one on-site garage at 17801 International Blvd, Seattle, WA 98158, with General Parking on Floors 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 and Reserved Parking on Floor 4. The Port's rate page lists drive-up General Parking at $8 an hour, $37 a day and $222 a week, but it dates those rates June 1, 2023 and says they are adjusted every year, so confirm before you go. A banner on the Port's reserved parking page says Reserved Parking expands to Level 5 on October 13 (it shows no year). Meeting someone? The free cell phone lot holds you for up to 20 minutes.

Your options at a glance

SEA parking rates

These are the rates on the Port of Seattle rate page on October 10, 2026. The page dates them June 1, 2023, says they include all taxes and fees, and says they are adjusted annually. Treat them as a baseline and confirm at portseattle.org/sea/parking/parking-information.

  • General Parking (Floors 1 to 3 and 5 to 8, drive-up): $8 per hour, $37 per day, $222 per week. Over-height parking is included in the General rates.
  • Reserved Parking (Floor 4): $47 per 24 hours on the rate page. Overstay costs $10 per hour, up to the daily maximum.

Lost your ticket? At minimum it costs the daily rate for the area where you parked.

The on-site garage

SEA has one parking garage next to the terminal at 17801 International Blvd, Seattle, WA 98158. The Port's pages give its size as more than 11,000 spaces on one page and more than 12,000 on others, so the exact count is not clear.

General Parking is on Floors 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 and works for short or long stays. Floor 4 is Reserved Parking and has direct skybridge access to the Main Terminal. Terminal Direct drive-up parking on Floor 4 was discontinued on March 5, 2024. Level 1 also holds the Cruise Lobby and the charter bus area.

The garage uses sensors and lights above each lane to show open stalls. Cameras read license plates to help you find your car if you forget where you parked.

Reserving SEA parking

You can book and prepay online for Floor 4 up to 120 days ahead. You can't pick a stall, and the Port says specific stall types (ADA, over-height, EV) can't be reserved. You need a reservation made at least 6 hours before entry and a valid QR code, which you scan to enter and exit.

You can change or cancel without penalty up to 6 hours before your entry time. The Port says the price you see is the price you pay.

Upcoming change: a banner on the Port's reserved parking page says Reserved Parking expands to Level 5 in the airport garage on October 13. The banner shows no year, and the page does not say how this affects General Parking or the ADA stalls on Level 5, so check the page before you book.

Reserved Parking customer service is open 24 hours a day at 206-787-4888 or ReserveSEA@portseattle.org. You can also sign up on the Port's site for a 10% off promotion on a future reservation.

Shuttles and walking to the terminal

On-site parking does not need a shuttle. Six skybridges on Level 4, which is Reserved Parking, connect the garage to the Main Terminal.

If you park off-site, your hotel or parking company runs the courtesy shuttle. These vehicles load on the courtesy island lane on Level 3 of the garage, on Islands 1A to 1D, 2A and 3A to 3C. SEA doesn't publish how often they run, so ask your company for pickup times and a phone number before you land. The Port's courtesy shuttle page lists the hotels that run shuttles, with phone numbers.

Uber, Lyft and WINGZ pick up on Level 3 of the garage too.

From the Link light rail station platform, an elevator or escalator takes you to Level 4 of the garage. A free Train-to-Plane cart runs between the station and the terminal daily from 5 a.m. to midnight and loads near the entrance to Skybridges 5 and 6. The Port's map puts the walk from the station to the terminal at about 7 to 12 minutes.

Cell phone lot

The free cell phone lot is at 2623 S. 170th Street, SeaTac, directly across from the S. 170th Street exit of the Airport Expressway. It has 200 spaces and free Wi-Fi.

Rules:

  • It is for waiting up to 20 minutes for arriving passengers.
  • Stay with your vehicle.
  • Taxis, rideshare and commercial use are not allowed.
  • Unauthorized vehicles are towed 24 hours a day at the owner's expense.

Your passenger gets picked up outside Baggage Claim after they land and collect their bags. Never wait on the shoulder of the Airport Expressway.

If you are waiting for an international arrival, tell your passenger to meet you at Gina Marie Lindsey Hall on the Baggage Claim level, at the south end of the terminal near the international airlines. Passengers clear Customs before they get there, so allow extra time.

How to pay for parking

Drive-up parking accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Cashiers at the garage exit lanes take cash and cards. Automated easy pay machines at the exit lanes and on Level 4 take cards only.

Reserved parking is prepaid online with a credit or debit card or Apple Pay. Receipts for drive-up parking are offered when you pay. If you have trouble, call Customer Care at (206) 787-5388.

EV charging

SEA has 94 EV stalls with free Level 2 charging for parking customers. They are marked with green striping and signed Electric Car Charging Only. Regular parking rates still apply.

General Parking Floor 7 has 64 stalls in Rows E and F. Floor 4 (Reserved Parking) has 30 stalls in Rows E and F, per the Port's rate page, so reserve if you need a charger there. The Port says a reservation does not guarantee an EV or ADA stall, since those stalls are first come, first served.

Accessible and over-height parking

ADA stalls are in General Parking on Floor 5 and in Reserved Parking on Floor 4. You need a valid disability permit. Posted General rates apply, and Reserved Parking requires an advance reservation. The Port says a reservation does not guarantee an ADA stall. When you arrive, call Prospect Airport Services at (206) 246-1550 to arrange wheelchair assistance.

Vehicles taller than 6 feet 10 inches use the outdoor over-height area. The Port's two pages disagree on its size: the rate page says 78 stalls, including 4 ADA stalls, and calls the lot very limited, while the accessibility page says 60-plus stalls. Either way it can fill up. Enter from South 182nd Street off Highway 99, take a ticket in the far right lane and pay at an exit press machine on Floor 4 before you return to your car. Daily rates apply. A wheelchair-accessible path runs from this area through the first floor of the garage to the Main Terminal, by elevator.

Long stays, drop-off and off-site parking

If you park more than 30 days, pre-book online or call the Public Parking Office at (206) 787-5308. Otherwise your car may be treated as abandoned and towed at your expense.

Drop-off: Departures Drive is on the Ticketing level and Arrivals Drive is on the Baggage Claim level. The Port publishes no curbside time limit or fee, so ask SEA Customer Care at (206) 787-5388.

Off-site parking companies set their own rates, and the Port doesn't list them. Ask each company for its price and shuttle schedule.

Cruising from Seattle

Cruise parking is not at SEA. The Port's cruise terminals have their own lots, checked October 9, 2026:

  • Pier 91 (Smith Cove): parking from as low as $27 per day, including a free shuttle to your ship. RV and over-height spaces are offered there too.
  • Pier 66 (Bell Street): Republic Parking at $30 per day, not including taxes. Call 206-443-1793.

If you fly in, the SEA garage has a Cruise Lobby and charter bus area on Level 1. The Port's Port Valet service moves your bags from the ship to your airline free of charge if you fly home the day you disembark, on Alaska, American, Delta, Horizon, JetBlue, Southwest or United flights leaving after noon (Delta domestic only).
